The Judge: Why did this man do this heinous crime?
The Accused’s Lawyer: His wife told him to your honour
The Judge: Better let him off then
The Accused’s Lawyer: It’s only fair
Judge: We wouldn’t want to upset the wife
The Accused’s Lawyer: Yes-she might attack us
The Judge: You mean *he* might attack us!
The Accused’s Lawyer: Quite!
